METEOFERMENT AH is a heat-stable bacterial alpha-amylase enzyme preparation produced from a thermophilic strain of Bacillus species. The enzyme will randomly hydrolyze 1, 4 alpha-D –glucosidic linkages in gelatinized starch into soluble dextrin’s and oligosaccharides.It is a high-performance starch liquefaction enzyme.
It is also a high-temperature starch liquefaction enzyme used by the alcohol industry to thin starch in distilling mashes.
